Hi, You're invited to the First Annual St. Louis Route 66 Festival, which is being held on the historic Old Chain of Rocks Bridge – on both the Illinois and Missouri sides – on Saturday, October 4, 2008.
Two hundred classic cars will line the bridge deck. The event also includes Route 66 authors and speakers, artists, food and merchandise vendors, an old-fashioned sock hop dance and even a “walk-in” movie showing of the classic “American Graffiti” on a giant, inflatable screen.
The event runs from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
